Lord Vishnu is usually depicted with weapons, chakras, and Shankh. However, rarely does anyone know about the legend of Nandak- the pure sword, the destroyer of ignorance, and the one created by Vidya. He is mentioned as a man leading all the weapons of Lord Vishnu against Demons. In a rare contradiction, he is also considered to be the darker aspect of the Gods. He has been held by Lord Rama, and is believed to be the weapon of Lord Kalki!

I found this character much untamed, yet so beautiful. For me, Nandaka is a warrior who would fight for the right but would also be consumed by darkness and ignorance. He is that warrior who will show us how to fight the darkness inside us. The legend of Nandaka will also play a pivotal role in the world of Illume. But will that great warrior rise and lead the good ones against the evils that surround Illume?
