In the world of Illume, the story of the legendary Golden Sword has always inspired hope and bravery.

 

Thousands of years ago, when the Almighty's anger had devastated the planet, from his wrath had emerged the Danav. Division and strife bloodied the already plundered Illume. Even the children of the Almighty, God Sahasya, Goddess Aikya, and Goddess Pragya, were disowned by their father and forced to abandon Illume. It was then when the Great Priests of Illume(One each from the Sahasyas, Pragyas and Aikyas) had gathered in Dharma to console the anger of the Almighty.

 

They built a temple in his honor and prayed for weeks without food and water. The Almighty did bless them with a promise that till the time Illume had firm faith in him, Danav would not breathe the free air.

 

This forced the Danav to flee and create a safe haven for him and his followers. He ran his finger through a piece of land, and a perilous red-river, Danu emerged. The river separated the land of Pathala from the rest of the world. Since then, Pathala became the sanctum for the Asuras.

 

But the Almighty, before abandoning his most beautiful creation, Illume, blessed the Temple of Dharma with another boom. Anyone born with the determination to enforce the will of the Almighty would be blessed with The Golden Sword. This sword will appear in the Holy Temple, with the name of its Bearer engraved over it. The Bearer would be hailed as a liberator. He would have the resolve to bring justice, peace, equality, and co-existence back to Illume.

 

Only then would the Almighty return and bless the lands he once abandoned. Each Bearer did change the world, but they all struggled to unite Illume. There have been four known Bearers in the world of Illume- Agasthya Aikyam(a Aikya), and the Manus - Surya, Indra, Vritra, and Aryan (Pragyas). Each had a unique determination to execute the will of the Almighty, but the challenges were too much to conquer in one lifetime.
